Hello, friends! Welcome to Blogmas Day 6! (Blogmas Day 5 here)
It’s always been a tradition for my mother to get my sister and I new pajamas for Christmas. Side note: do you say paJAMas or paJAmas? I definitely say it the second way.
Anyways, it’s only been for the past couple of years that my mom has actually ASKED us what PJs we want. Before she either made them herself, or just went out and got what she though we would like. The trouble with that was, I have very different tastes from my mother in terms of style. So letting us pick our own has been A LOT better.
So making this post has been very beneficial to me, and I’m most definitely sending my mother a couple of this links… 🙂

Hello, friends! Welcome to Blogmas Day 5! (Blogmas Day 4 here)
Every since I can remember, Harry Potter has been part of my life. Kinda lame and cheesy, right? I can’t count the number of times I’ve re-read the series. Or watched the movies. But I do have to say, I much prefer the books.
I feel like a lot of people might read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone during the holidays too, and for good reason. There’s just something about that first Christmas you experience in the Harry Potter universe that has always stuck around with me. It helps that the first time I read this book was around Christmas, too.
And so I always read it. It never takes me too long to finish it, and somehow it always feels like I’m reading it for the first time.
Anyone else always read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone during Christmas? I know there’s a lot of you out there!
Hello, friends! Welcome to Blogmas Day 4! (Blogmas Day 3 here)
First, I want to apologize for the crappy picture. I had another one that was far less crappy, but it somehow got deleted from my camera. How do these things happen? So I had to take a quick one while it was getting rapidly darker outside. Sigh.
Anyways, I’m very excited, since I’m now fully stocked on Christmas candles. I do love those warm fall/winter scents way more than, say, something fruity. Right now I have Tis the Season lit and it’s filling the room with delicious Christmas-y scents. Pure heaven.
Tis the Season is definitely THE classic Christmas scent, in my opinion. It reminds me of going into any sort of craft store during the holidays. Or when grocery stores have those cinnamon stick broom things out.
It was an absolute necessity for me to get a Christmas tree-scented candle. I don’t have an actual tree in my apartment, and the scent of Evergreen definitely fills that sad void for me.
Did I get Winter just for the cute little bear on the packaging? Maybe. But it also smells DIVINE. I think its the mix of that citrusy orange and fir needles.
And now for the wild card: Marshmallow Fireside. I normally stray away from candles that smell like food, mainly because they just smell real gross to me (sorry if I offend anyone that actually loves those <3). But when I was walking around the store, I kept going back to smell this one. I feel like it’s the cedarwood oil in it. Have you noticed that I have a thing for cedarwood? But they mixed in the vanilla in a way that wasn’t too sweet and overpowering, which I love.
Anyone else go on a Christmas candle binge during the holidays? Lemme know!
Hello friends! Welcome to Blogmas Day 3! (Blogmas Day 2 here)
I feel like a Blogmas wouldn’t be complete without saying something about tacky Christmas sweaters. In fact, I feel somewhat obligated to write this post. Although I’m excited anyways.
Even if I wasn’t doing Blogmas, I would still search the Internet for hours looking for some great Christmas sweaters. And if I had all the money in the world, I would buy them all. But, sadly, I do not have all the money in the world, so I’ll have to settle for just comprising a list of all the sweaters I WOULD buy if I had a lot of extra cash lying around.

Hello, friends! Welcome to Blogmas Day 2! (Blogmas Day 1 here)
There’s just something so Christmas-y about red lipstick, I think. My favorite thing about makeup during the festive season is breaking out a red lip basically every day. Anyone else do this, or is it just me?
I’ve collected my 5 favorite red lipsticks, which I realize now as I’m typing this are ALL matte. At least there’s some consistency!
Also, I do realize that today is December 3rd, and this is my Blogmas Day 2 post. This year, instead of trying to push myself to post every day, I’m doing every other day as to not spread myself too thin. Anyways, on to the lipsticks!
- Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick – Creeper
- Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – Dragon Girl
- Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil – Cruella
- Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss – 111 Kiss of Life
- L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick – Matador
I know I’ve definitely talked about a couple of these already (*ahem* that Rimmel London lipstick is a game changer) (and that L’Oreal one doesn’t come off for ANYTHING). There are 2 Nars lip pencils on here, I know, but for good reason. These are extremely comfortable and long-lasting, and the 2 shades I have are perfection. As for Creeper by Colourpop, you really can’t get a better blue-red color for the price.
Anyone have any favorite red lipsticks they wear especially in the festive season? Lemme know!
